Course Description
Giving people the capability to be self taught has become very popular in many organizations. Adobe Captivate can help by allowing trainers and others that want to share training and other data without needing to meet with them in person. Since Adobe Captivate works with audio and video it also allows for a wide variety of creativity and can give a presentation the sensation of personal interaction. With the screen capturing capabilities it gives users the ability to clearly demonstrate how to use different software tools on a computer. There are interactive capabilities which allow users to give feedback and take tests, so that you can verify if the audience has received the information you have shared with them. This course is meant for students who have limited or no previous experience with Adobe Captive. The topics covered provide the skills you need to create demonstrations and interactive simulations.
Course Objective: You will explore the essential of Adobe Captive 4, including its tools and features. You will create and publish different types of software simulation and demonstrations. You will also learn the basics of working with Audio and Video on a PC and what different file types are standard for working with audio and video.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- confidently work with audio and video files that will be used in creating their Adobe Captive presentations.
- record a software demonstration and simulation.
- update existing projects and make edits as needed to create their published shows.
- create a variety of interactive quizzes including testing as well as the capability to get feedback from their audience.
- understand what content they can import into their shows.
- create projects with closed captioning
- publish their projects in a variety of ways so that they can get their content to their audience.
- organize projects in ways that allow users to save time, easily re-use previous work with new content, and find content they are looking for.
